The COVID-related forced break and the resulting online-only events finally seem to be a thing of the past. At the end of April, DMEA – Europe’s most important digital health event – returned to Berlin as an eagerly awaited in-person event, followed by the 103rd German Radiology Congress at the end of May. DMEA even recorded a 4% increase in attendance compared to 2019. Over 11,000 visitors and more than 500 exhibitors attended Europe’s largest digitization fair. Under the theme “Living Diversity – Shaping the Future,” just over 100 industry exhibitors presented their new products and radiology solutions at the Radiology Congress in Wiesbaden.
The desire for personal exchange had been clearly felt from all sides for quite some time. Many customers took the opportunity in advance to schedule on-site meetings with Mesalvo experts. In addition to numerous existing clients, many new prospects also visited the newly designed booth to exchange ideas, gain an overview of Mesalvo’s extensive product portfolio with its eight product lines, and learn about new developments thanks to the concentrated expertise. At DMEA, the focus was on the ClinicCentre HIS and Meona CWS solutions, which together form the leading HIS/CWS system in Germany. Additional highlights included solutions for medication and cytostatics, web-based portal solutions, Meona video consultations, and Meona PDMS.
At the Radiology Congress, Mesalvo presented its solutions and innovations related to the Radiology Information System (RIS) RadCentre and introduced a comprehensive all-in-one package for secure telematics infrastructure (TI) integration in hospitals and practices. This ensures that everyone involved in optimal patient care benefits from connectivity and modern healthcare communication. Another highlight was the RadCentre Patient Portal, which facilitates appointment coordination and information exchange between patients, practices, and hospitals – all with a user-friendly, intuitive interface. Going forward, Mesalvo will continue focusing on connecting healthcare players and expanding web-based portal solutions.

Conclusion: Two successful trade fair appearances at DMEA and the German Radiology Congress, with positive customer feedback, countless exciting expert discussions, reunions with familiar faces, and new contacts – topped off by contracts signed on the spot. Mesalvo will be back as an exhibitor next year to present its product highlights. The next DMEA is scheduled for April 25–27, 2023, in Berlin, and the German Radiology Congress will take place from May 17–20, 2023, in Wiesbaden.
