Freiburg, June 30, 2025 – Mesalvo has published its annual financial results for fiscal year 2024, reporting a record revenue of €49.4 million – a growth of approximately 15% compared to the previous year (2023: €43.0 million). These figures reflect the company’s successful strategic shift towards a modern cloud platform approach.

“2024 was a year of consistent execution and clear focus for Mesalvo,” says Holger Cordes, CEO of Mesalvo. “Our growth proves that our solutions are meeting the moment: interoperable, mobile, cloud-based – and, above all, practical in everyday clinical use.”

Cortex Platform as a Growth Driver

Business around the HealthCentre | Cortex technology platform, launched in 2024, showed particularly strong development. Eight successfully completed customer projects and high demand in the HIS/clinical application (KIS/KAS) environment – especially in medication management and digital curve solutions – made 2024 an exceptionally successful sales year.

The platform enables fully cloud-based management of clinical and administrative data, offers real-time access to information, and provides intelligent decision support – demonstrably enhancing efficiency and patient safety.

Clinical Portfolio Fuels Market Expansion

The broader clinical portfolio was also a major growth driver. With 42 large-scale projects won, including 40 new customers, Mesalvo significantly strengthened its market presence. The launch of specialized solutions such as MC³ Oncology, MC³ Neonatology, and the continued development of the billing module MC³ Administration & Billing underscore the company's innovation and deep sector expertise.

Customer Proximity as a Key to Success

“Our customers know we listen – and we deliver,” says William Oliver, Chief Customer Officer at Mesalvo. “2024 was marked by strong partnerships – whether in replacing IS-H and i.s.h.med or expanding mobile solutions.”

Numerous newly signed reference customer agreements underscore this close collaboration. A key exchange format was the Executive Steering Group Meeting in June 2025, where leading hospitals and university clinics actively contributed to shaping Mesalvo’s product strategy. The event is held semi-annually.

The next milestone in customer engagement will be the Mesalvo FUTURE HEALTH Summit, taking place on November 26–27, 2025, following its successful debut in 2024 and now set to become an annual event.

International Expansion Gathers Momentum

Mesalvo also made significant international progress in 2024: The launch of a major project in Norway, a tenfold increase in the international sales pipeline, and new partnerships with Medanets and Omilon have laid the foundation for sustainable global growth — with the goal of advancing clinical excellence worldwide.

Mesalvo showcased its international presence at leading events such as Vitalis in Gothenburg and the APHM Conference in Kuala Lumpur, both of which highlighted the global demand for intuitive, interoperable clinical solutions – particularly in Scandinavia and Asia.

"We are proud to present our clinically relevant electronic patient record globally. The great interest shows: The time is ripe for technologies that really improve patient care – not just documentation," summarizes Chief Customer Officer William Oliver.

Setting New Standards in Digital Healthcare – Fully Integrated Systems from Documentation to Billing

“The annual report is not a finish line for us, but a milestone on our path forward,” Cordes emphasizes. “In 2025, we will continue to invest in interoperability, user experience, and clinical excellence – and set new standards in digital healthcare.”

Against the backdrop of the planned hospital reform in Germany, Mesalvo will support healthcare providers with solutions for seamless documentation, intelligent coding, and process integration. The focus will be on care quality, outpatient transition, emergency care, and the use of AI-based assistance systems to automate clinical workflows.

With the continued expansion of the HealthCentre portfolio, Mesalvo is pursuing an integrated platform approach. Medical and administrative data are consolidated in a structured, real-time manner – enabling legally compliant billing and transparent process documentation. The goal is to fully and seamlessly replace legacy systems such as IS-H and i.s.h.med. The transition is supported by a close partnership with adesso, a standardized implementation methodology, and structured legacy data migration.

HealthCentre | Cortex will not only serve as the technological foundation of the entire Mesalvo portfolio but will also enable secure, interoperable data exchange within external healthcare ecosystems, such as regional care networks.
