Mesalvo Achieves Record Revenue in 2024 – Technology Platform HealthCentre as the Driving Force

Freiburg, January 30, 2025 – Mesalvo looks back on a successful year in 2024. The software company celebrated, among other things, the successful launch of its technology platform “Mesalvo HealthCentre.”

With HealthCentre | Cortex, Mesalvo pursues a cloud platform strategy that forms the foundation for the entire HealthCentre portfolio. This innovative overall strategy has further strengthened Mesalvo’s position as a pioneer in the digital transformation of healthcare and led to a record year in sales.

HealthCentre | Cortex, the “brain of the healthcare platform,” is not just an innovative idea – it was fully developed last year, sold eight times, and already implemented at customer sites. The introduction of the cloud platform has redefined the way healthcare facilities manage patient data, clinical procedures, and workflows. The KIS/KAS segment – particularly solutions for medication management and digital charting – achieved the highest customer demand and the greatest revenue. HealthCentre | Cortex offers seamless interoperability, real-time data access, and powerful decision support tools – enabling unparalleled efficiency and patient safety.

Transformation Through Innovation: Mesalvo HealthCentre

“The launch of ‘Mesalvo HealthCentre’ at the DMEA in April 2024 was a key moment for us. It was much more than presenting a new development. It was the introduction of our forward-looking overall strategy in the cloud – toward greater mobility and complete interoperability. The feedback from around 200 customer conversations was fantastic, and the success at DMEA marked the beginning of an exceptional year with a clear focus on delivering measurable added value to healthcare providers in Europe,” explains Holger Cordes, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Mesalvo.

Clinical Excellence and Transition Competence Beyond IS-H & i.s.h.med

Mesalvo’s next-generation KIS/KAS solutions are in high demand among customers, as they optimize all clinical and administrative processes and enable a seamless and future-proof transition from IS-H and i.s.h.med. Mesalvo is working on various projects in the SAP environment and, thanks to its high integration competence, ensures that hospitals not only meet current requirements but are also prepared for the future. An important development success in billing management is the integration of data from various systems into MC³ Administration & Billing | ClinicCentre via HealthCentre | Cortex, further enhancing billing and documentation quality. The results from more than 80 hospitals already using Mesalvo’s billing solution speak for themselves.

42 Major Projects and Portfolio Expansions

In addition to the success of “Mesalvo HealthCentre,” the company secured 42 major projects – including nearly 40 new customers. The portfolio was also expanded to include the new specialist areas MC³ Oncology and MC³ Neonatology. The digital, flexible, and intuitive pharmacy solution for cytostatic production, as well as the specialized solution for the treatment of newborns and premature infants, are setting new standards in digital healthcare. “We are the only provider on the market to offer end-to-end solutions for all clinical processes and specialties, which significantly benefit doctors and medical professionals. We develop solutions by focusing on the biggest challenges in hospitals and providing solutions that our users love,” Cordes states.

In the area of mobile solutions, “HealthCentre | Reach,” an innovative bedside medication management solution was developed that significantly improves safety in the medication administration process. Mesalvo’s mobile solutions provide significant added value for nursing mobility, ease the workload of care staff in daily routines, and increase patient safety.

Strengthened Customer Relationships

“Satisfied customers are the foundation of everything we do,” emphasizes William Oliver, Chief Customer Officer (CCO) of Mesalvo. “Our commitment to product stability, innovative solutions, and our reliability form the basis of this success. In 2024, we not only significantly increased our revenue growth but also successfully concluded many ongoing contractual agreements. The fact that our customers actively seek collaboration with us is a clear sign of trust and confirmation of our strategy – and a motivation to continue delivering excellent solutions,” Oliver adds.

With the launch of the two-day Mesalvo FUTURE HEALTH Summit in November 2024, the starting signal was given for an annually recurring, cross-product user meeting. “This close cooperation has helped us find strategic and innovative approaches to the shared challenges in our healthcare system and create added value,” Oliver continues. In 2024, Mesalvo not only regained trust but also won new reference customers – including, among others, the RNS Group Practice for Radiology and Radiation Therapy in Wiesbaden and the District Hospital Frankenberg.

International Success and Ambitious Goals for 2025

Mesalvo is also growing internationally. “We have significantly expanded our international business and opened up new opportunities with strong partners such as Medanets and Omilon,” emphasizes Cordes. With the major project in Norway and a tenfold increase in the international sales pipeline, Mesalvo has laid the foundation for future growth. “The year 2024 was all about transformation and focus,” summarizes Cordes. “The success of the year is the result of hard work, a great team, and the trust our customers place in us.” With this success story behind it, Mesalvo looks confidently to the future and will continue to support hospitals and healthcare professionals worldwide in 2025 in setting new standards in efficiency, safety, and patient satisfaction.
