Joachim Schweizer is stepping down as Managing Director and Chief Product Officer and will leave Mesalvo as of March 31. With more than 25 years of experience in the healthcare IT industry and various leadership roles, he played a major role in the success of Mesalvo, i-SOLUTIONS Health, and DATAPEC. “Joachim significantly advanced the unification into One Mesalvo and laid the foundation for future successful Mesalvo products,” said Marcus Mäurer, Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO).
Marcus Mäurer (CPTO), who has been part of the current five-member management team since the beginning of January 2023, will largely take over Schweizer’s areas of responsibility and will continue the previous product strategy. He bears overall responsibility for the development and product management for HIS/HCS, radiology, laboratory, ERP solutions, as well as for the ongoing integration of product innovations.
For the software expert’s customers, this development and responsibility from “a single source” primarily means one thing: newly emerging synergies. “At Mesalvo, we pursue a generic development approach for products and modules. This allows us to simultaneously apply innovations and new developments across all our product lines and thereby further strengthen the ‘One Mesalvo’ product strategy. Once developed, all customers benefit from our IT solutions in the long term, regardless of whether the original module was intended for the hospital, radiology, or laboratory sector,” explains Mäurer.
“I look forward to further advancing the ‘One Mesalvo’ product strategy. Our main focus is on product stability, product innovations, and reliability for our customers. We are a long-term partner in healthcare, especially when it comes to platform solutions, and we also aim to sustainably increase the company’s value for our shareholders,” Mäurer adds.
The current management team consists of: Marcus Mäurer (Chief Product & Technology Officer, CPTO), Dr. Tim Mundhenke (Chief Financial Officer, CFO), William Oliver (Chief Customer Officer, CCO), PD Dr. Matthias Wuttke (Chief Technology Officer, CTO), and PD Dr. Tobias Schäfer (Chief Innovation Officer, CIO).
“As a management team, we look forward to tackling the challenges ahead together and continuing to support Mesalvo’s growth. We will increasingly rely on the collaborative support of Mesalvo employees,” explains Dr. Tim Mundhenke, CFO.
