After almost 40 years in the healthcare IT industry, Dr. Wolrad Rube is stepping down as Chairman of the Management Board of i-SOLUTIONS Health GmbH and Mesalvo GmbH at his own request and is retiring from operational business. The responsibilities will be newly distributed within a new Mesalvo management team.

His vision of creating an all-in-one, fully digital care-free package was the foundation for the recent merger under the Mesalvo brand umbrella.”
As Chairman of the Management Board, Dr. Wolrad Rube initiated the idea of merging i-SOLUTIONS Health and Meona under the shared brand Mesalvo and thus set the course for a successful future. Following the completion of the merger, he will now focus on his role as a shareholder.

Dr. Wolrad Rube had been responsible as Chairman of the Management Board for the activities of i-SOLUTIONS Health GmbH since April 2017. Prior to that, from November 2014 to March 2017, he already served as Chairman of the Supervisory Board. He took over the then financially troubled company, restructured it, and transformed it into a healthy and profitable medium-sized corporate group—laying the groundwork for the recently completed merger with Meona under the Mesalvo umbrella.
Rube, who holds a doctorate in law, focused on the growing healthcare IT sector early on after working independently as an attorney and legal counsel. He has held various senior positions in the industry since the early 1980s. Rube is considered a thought leader in the digitalization of hospital and laboratory solutions and is also actively involved in various healthcare economy committees. He sits on the advisory board of MEDICA and is closely associated with the industry association for healthcare IT manufacturers, bvitg e.V., where he served for many years on the board—including as chairman in 2006.
Dr. Wolrad Rube leaves i-SOLUTIONS Health and Mesalvo with the proverbial laughing and crying eye:
