Electronic data transmission is mandatory for all medical laboratories. The aim is to relieve public health departments and speed up the flow of information. But how does the DEMIS notification (German Electronic Reporting and Information System for Infection Protection) work, and how does Mesalvo support you? What new developments have occurred since DEMIS 2.0 started on 01.01.2022? Find out more in the web seminar!

Since 01.01.2022, data from DEMIS reports on pathogens as per §7 IfSG (Infection Protection Act) must be transmitted electronically to public health departments and the Robert Koch Institute (RKI).

Since then, DEMIS has published new specifications and profiles that had to be adapted for reporting from LabCentre.
