  • Mesalvo HealthCentre covers all key clinical and administrative processes and brings the technology and interoperability needed to ensure continuity of care and clinical excellence. It remains open for system integration to ensure maximum interoperability. A special highlight: the Clinical Data Repository, which enables a unified view of health data through centralized data usage.
  • Facing a HIS generation change? With Mesalvo HealthCentre, it becomes an opportunity! Mesalvo offers not only the best HIS/HAS in the European market but is also the best option as your IS-H successor solution. With deep clinical functionalities for nursing and medication, paired with comprehensive administrative processes, “ready-to-use” solutions are already available today to replace IS-H and i.s.h.med through a “soft” IT migration.
  • Another highlight is the complete implementation of Closed Loop Medication requirements with our mobile and automated documentation. Digital nursing management is fast and intuitive with Mesalvo HealthCentre – thanks to applications used directly at the patient’s bedside or innovative AI and service applications.

    April 9, 2024 – 15:33–15:41
Topic: Decision management from admission to discharge – CLMM in Meona
    Speaker: Anne Saemann

Relieving nursing staff, more time for patients, avoiding medication errors – increasing medication therapy safety through digitization and automation. With Closed Loop Medication Management, we accompany patients through a seamless digital medication process and offer an integrated Clinical Decision Support System as well as patient-specific logistics. Efficiency and safety in one – that’s CLMM from Meona.

    April 10, 2024 – 11:47–11:55
Topic: The Mesalvo Clinical Data Repository in the Cloud
    Speaker: Matthias Wuttke

The path for the Mesalvo Clinical Data Repository to the cloud is clear, as since the EU adequacy decision in July 2023 there are no longer any legal obstacles to processing patient data in the cloud. We will demonstrate how the multi-tenant and GDPR-compliant Clinical Data Repository operates in the cloud and how various “on-premise” systems can be connected.

Our contribution emphasizes the impact of AI on clinical decision support in healthcare, which supports medication prescription in real time and increases patient safety through automatic alerts. Addressing ethical issues is crucial for AI in healthcare. Success depends on handling ethical questions and building trust. At DMEA, we want to stimulate dialogue and promote innovations in health technology. We look forward to knowledge exchange and dialogue with the community on these important topics.

    Speaker: Matthias Wuttke

Regular documentation from clinical routine flows into the Mesalvo Clinical Data Repository. We demonstrate how data from various systems is merged and show the Mesalvo Workflow Engine, which is triggered by the transfer into the repository and in turn initiates actions in the connected systems.

Solutions Hub

Solutions Hub Presentations – Solutions Hub Area

  • Solutions Hub: Data Utilization
    April 10, 2024 – 10:45–10:55
Topic: Implementing Clinical Data Repositories: Opportunities and Challenges
    Speaker: Matthias Wuttke

In patient care, many patient data are recorded daily for documentation reasons, manually by medical staff or automatically by medical devices. University hospitals work in the Medical Informatics Funding Initiative on frameworks to use these data across institutions for research purposes. The implementation of Clinical Data Repositories enables improved standardization of treatment, which directly benefits patients. In addition, “Data-as-a-Service” enables faster and more targeted development of new therapies in the pharmaceutical industry.
